Printing

Every label, on the right printer, without asking.

Item, box, and prep labels silently routed to the printers you choose, through a print bridge we built ourselves.

Built for

Sellers and prep teams running real printers: a thermal roll for FNSKU stickers, a laser for sheets, and no patience for print dialogs.

The gist

MarketMonster prints through the Bridge, a small tray app we wrote ourselves, that sends labels straight to any printer your computer can see. Tell it once where each kind of label goes: FNSKU stickers to the thermal roll, box labels to the 4x6, prep labels wherever you like. From then on printing is one click, or no clicks at all. And if the Bridge is not running, nothing breaks: every label falls back to a plain PDF download.

Why it matters

  • Silent printing: no browser dialog, no downloads folder full of labels, the printer just prints
  • Routable by label type: item, box, and prep labels each get their own printer and format
  • Our own Bridge, built in-house: a tiny tray app for Windows, macOS, and Linux that does exactly what our printing needs
  • Auto-print as you pack, each unit exactly once
  • Never blocked: no Bridge or no printer means labels download as PDFs instead

Inside the builder

Set the routing once in Settings and every print button in the app follows it.

Route it once

Tell MarketMonster where each label belongs. It remembers.

A printer per label type

Item labels (FNSKU), shipment box labels, and prep labels each pin their own printer and their own format. The thermal roll gets the stickers; the laser gets the sheets.

Formats per type

Thermal 1x2.63" rolls, 30-up Letter sheets, or 21 and 24-up A4, chosen independently for each label type.

Per-station setup

Routing lives on the workstation, not the account. The packing bench and the office desk each keep their own printers.

Smart resolution

Every print button remembers where it printed last, then falls back to the label-type default, then your global default. A dropdown overrides any of it, including "Download PDF instead."

Test print

One click sends a test page down any route, so you know the binding works before a 200-unit run.

The Bridge

A small native tray app we wrote ourselves, so printing just works.

Silent, direct printing

The Bridge hands the label straight to the printer. No browser print dialog, no save-then-open shuffle.

Any printer your computer sees

Rollo, Zebra, DYMO, or the office laser. If your operating system can print to it, MarketMonster can route to it.

Local and locked down

The Bridge listens only on your own machine, never reaches out to the internet, and is invisible to your network. You approve MarketMonster in the Bridge once, and no other site can print through it.

Windows, macOS, and Linux

A lightweight native app with a system tray icon, downloaded straight from Settings. Install it once per station.

Graceful fallback

Bridge closed? Print buttons turn into PDF downloads, and auto-print pauses with a nudge instead of spraying files.

Everything that prints

One routing setup covers the whole workflow.

FNSKU item labels

Self-generated thermal labels with a Best By line that match the live preview exactly, or Amazon-rendered 30-up sheets.

Auto-print while packing

Turn on the triggers you like: as items are added, boxed, or quantities bump, each unit prints exactly once while you work.

Box and carrier labels

Amazon's box labels with the partnered carrier label riding along, in one print. Prefer 2D barcodes? The content barcode is stamped onto each box label before it prints.

Compliance and custom labels

FRAGILE, SUFFOCATION WARNING, TEAM LIFT, MECHANICAL LIFT, or your own text, auto-sized to fit, in item, box, and pallet sizes.

Pallet labels and the BOL

Four labels per pallet, one for each side, and a Bill of Lading generated fresh the morning your freight ships.

Put it to work

  • Send FNSKU stickers to the thermal roll and 30-up sheets to the office laser, and never think about it again
  • Turn on auto-print and label items as you box them, hands free
  • Print box, pallet, and carrier labels from the shipment page straight to the warehouse printer
  • Give each packing station its own printers; the routing follows the machine
  • Test print any route before a big run

Start to finish

  1. 1Install the Bridge from Settings and approve MarketMonster when it asks.
  2. 2Click Detect Printers and save the ones you use.
  3. 3Pick a printer and format for each label type.
  4. 4Print. That is the whole workflow now.

What you'll need

The free MarketMonster Bridge app (Windows, macOS, or Linux) and a printer your computer can print to. Without the Bridge, every label still works as a PDF download.

Quick answers

Is the Bridge another third-party print utility?

No. We built the Bridge in-house, for MarketMonster and nothing else. It does exactly what our printing needs, and when our printing needs more, we build it in. Nothing extra to license, configure, or keep updated.

Do I have to use the Bridge?

No. Every print button works without it and simply downloads a PDF you can print yourself. The Bridge is what makes printing silent, routed, and automatic.

Which printers work?

Any printer your operating system can print to: thermal label printers like Rollo, Zebra, and DYMO, or ordinary laser and inkjet printers for sheet labels.

Is it safe to run?

The Bridge listens only on your own machine (127.0.0.1) and never talks to the internet. A website cannot print through it until you approve it in the Bridge, one time, by name.

Will auto-print ever double-print?

No. A per-unit ledger tracks what has already printed during your session, so adding, boxing, and bumping quantities converge to exactly one label per unit.

What does it cost?

Nothing. The Bridge and routable printing are included on every plan.
