Manifests

Build a shipment once. Pack it, label it, send it.

One workspace that takes an inbound shipment from first item to booked carrier. Small parcel or freight, partnered or not.

Built for

Sellers and prep teams who want the whole inbound job, adding, packing, labeling, and booking, in one place instead of five tabs.

The gist

A manifest is your whole shipment in one live workspace: the items going in, the boxes and pallets they ride on, the labels on every side, and the carrier bringing it all to Amazon. Add items by search, scan gun, or spreadsheet. Pack as you go while preflight checks keep score. When everything is green, pick your placement, book your carrier, and print.

Why it matters

  • Small parcel and freight are both first-class: SPD and LTL each get a workflow built for how they actually ship
  • Labels print themselves as you work, straight to your thermal printer
  • Preflight checks catch problems before Amazon does, each with a one-click fix
  • Box, case-pack, and shipping defaults carry across shipments, so setup work happens once
  • Live placement fees and refund countdowns, so you always know what a choice costs

Inside the builder

The manifest is where most of MarketMonster lives. Everything below ships with every manifest.

Add items

Get a shipment drafted in minutes, from wherever your list lives.

Inventory search

Search your synced inventory and add items with a quantity stepper, or send items straight from the Inventory page into a new or existing manifest.

Scan to add

Point a scan gun at the shelf. Each barcode adds a line or bumps the quantity, with a beep, a running tally, and undo. Whole cases scan in too.

Spreadsheet import

Drop in a CSV or Excel file, map the columns, and review per-row checks against Amazon before anything lands, with duplicate handling built in.

New to Amazon? List it from here

Search Amazon's catalog inside the add sheet and create the offer on the spot. The new listing gets an MSKU minted from your naming formula and lands on the manifest, ready to pack.

Case-pack entry

Type 20x12 to say 20 cases of 12. Case lines get their own boxes automatically, and saved case templates remember dimensions and units per case.

Prep, hazmat, and eligibility

Every line is checked as it lands: prep categories set directly with Amazon, hazmat and meltable flags, and restriction notices with links to apply for approval.

Costs on the line

Record buy cost, supplier, and expiration dates as you pack, so your cost of goods and Best By data ride along with the shipment.

One sheet, three ways in: search your inventory, scan the shelf, or list a brand-new product on Amazon without leaving the manifest.

Scan to add, live: each scan resolves to your item, the tally keeps count, and the preflight checklist reacts as lines land.

Pack boxes

From one big box to a hundred identical cartons.

Box & Label, on every line

Open any line to see how it packs: boxes, units per box, dimensions, and weight, next to the item details and a live preview of the exact label that prints.

Box cards that stack

Forty identical boxes are one card, not forty. Edit dimensions, weight, or count in place and the whole run updates.

Multi-SKU boxes

Mix items in one box and watch packed-versus-remaining counts per item across every box you have built.

Box templates

USPS, UPS, and FedEx standard sizes are built in for everyone. Save your own custom sizes on TEAMS and up.

Scan to pack

Scan items into a physical box and finish hands-free with printable control barcodes for undo, done, and new box.

Box & Label on every line: the exact label that prints, the costs that ride along, and how it all packs.

Print labels

Every label the dock expects, without a trip to Seller Central.

FNSKU labels with live preview

Item labels generated in-app for thermal rolls or 30-up sheets, with a Best By line when the item tracks expiration. What you see is what prints.

Automatic printing

Turn on auto-print and labels come off your thermal printer as you add, box, or bump quantities, each unit printed exactly once, via the MarketMonster Bridge app.

Compliance and custom labels

FRAGILE, SUFFOCATION WARNING, TEAM LIFT, or your own text, sized to fit and previewed live before printing, in item, box, and pallet sizes.

2D barcodes

Prefer not to send box contents ahead? Print a 2D barcode on each box and Amazon scans the contents at the dock.

Print item and custom-text labels right from the manifest, with a live preview and your own sizes.

Ship with checks on

The builder keeps score so nothing surprises you at the dock.

Live preflight

A running checklist re-checks as you edit: address, quantities, prep, box limits. Anything that needs attention has a one-click fix that takes you right to it.

Amazon's split, previewed

See Amazon's packing groups before you commit. If a box mixes groups that cannot ship together, one click splits it into boxes that can.

Pick lists

A pick list builds itself from your boxes as you pack. Print it, or share a read-only link your crew can work from (SOLO and up).

Live for the whole team

Manifests update in real time across tabs and teammates, so two people can work the same shipment without stepping on each other.

Locks that explain themselves

Once Amazon commits to your shipment, the fields that must not change lock and say why. Unlock a draft anytime before booking to fetch fresh options.

Duplicate and reopen

Copy any confirmed manifest into a fresh draft, or reopen a closed one without losing its history.

Preview Amazon's packing split before you ship: we flag any box that mixes packing groups and offer a one-click fix.

Two ways to ship

Small parcel and freight are different jobs. The builder treats them that way: each gets its own flow, its own tools, and its own paperwork.

Small parcel · SPD

Boxes on a truck, booked in minutes.

SPD is the everyday flow: pack your boxes, see what Amazon wants to charge, and print every label in one pass. Packing first means Amazon splits whole boxes, so your case packs stay sealed.

Placement options with live fees, in plain English. Estimate shipping and accept without leaving the sheet.

  • Partnered UPS quotes with labels that print straight from the manifest, or bring your own carrier and add tracking
  • Placement options in plain English: Optimized, Partial Splits, and Minimum Splits, with live fees and the cheapest flagged
  • Sort options by price or fewest splits; totals include the placement fee, discounts, and shipping
  • Box labels and carrier labels together, in thermal or sheet formats
  • Change your mind? Partnered small parcel has a 24 hour cancel-for-refund window, with a live countdown on the manifest
  1. 1Add items and pack them into boxes as you go.
  2. 2Preflight goes green; click Ready for Shipments.
  3. 3Pick a placement option with live fees.
  4. 4Accept a partnered UPS quote or enter your own carrier.
  5. 5Print box and shipping labels. Done.

Freight · LTL

Pallets without the paperwork.

Freight runs on a two-step accept, and the first step is free: lock in where Amazon wants your freight before you build a single pallet. Pack once you know the destinations, then accept charges only when you see the real quote.

The pallet builder does the math: one click loads your boxes, estimates the weight, and keeps you inside the height limits.

  • Pack first or pack later: get shipment options from unit counts alone and pack after Amazon splits
  • A pallet builder that does the math: load every box in one click, auto-estimated weights, and stackable height limits
  • Real freight quotes from partnered carriers, with delivery windows confirmed at booking
  • On partnered freight, the Bill of Lading generates fresh whenever you need it, plus four pallet labels per pallet, one for each side
  • Freight details entered once: ready date plus saved contacts, with a default per warehouse
  • Multi-destination freight is first-class: per-destination tabs, scoped pallets, and per-shipment paperwork
  • Booking your own freight? Enter PRO and freight bill numbers and set an NMFC class per pallet
  1. 1Add items; boxes can wait.
  2. 2Get shipment options and accept a placement. The first accept is free and only locks the destination split.
  3. 3Pack boxes and build pallets per destination.
  4. 4Confirm packing to get real freight quotes.
  5. 5Accept charges, download the BOL, and print pallet labels.

No extra fees to ship freight. LTL costs the same one credit per shipment as small parcel.

Put it to work

  • Start a draft from Inventory, a spreadsheet, or a scan gun, and let preflight keep score while you pack
  • Hand your packer a scan gun and a sheet of control barcodes; boxes fill themselves
  • Duplicate last month's manifest and just update the quantities
  • Share a pick list link your warehouse can check off as they go
  • Sort placement options by price or fewest splits and accept the one that fits

What you'll need

A connected Amazon seller account. For automatic printing, the MarketMonster Bridge app and a thermal printer. A USB or Bluetooth scan gun if you want to scan.

Quick answers

Do I have to pick small parcel or freight up front?

No. SPD and LTL are a toggle on the manifest, along with partnered versus your own carrier and pack first versus pack later. Your choices are remembered as defaults for the next manifest.

What does "pack first or pack later" mean?

Pack first sends Amazon your box contents up front, so it splits whole boxes and sealed case packs. Pack later gets your shipment options from unit counts alone, and you pack after you know the destinations. Small parcel defaults to pack first; freight sellers usually pack later.

How does automatic label printing work?

Install the MarketMonster Bridge app and pick a printer. Labels then print as you add, box, or bump quantities, each unit exactly once. No Bridge set up? Download the PDFs instead.

Do I need special scanning hardware?

Any USB or Bluetooth scan gun that types like a keyboard works. Printable control barcodes drive the whole flow hands-free, and there is always a type-it-in fallback.

Can I reuse box dimensions?

USPS, UPS, and FedEx standard sizes are built in for every plan. Custom box templates come with TEAMS and up. Case-pack templates are free for everyone and remember dimensions and units per case, per item.

What if I need to cancel?

Before anything is charged, cancelling is free. After booking, partnered small parcel has a 24 hour refund window and freight has one hour, with a live countdown on the manifest so you are never guessing.
